"Frankfurt RheinMain - The Reception" in Davos 2024

From January 15 to 19, political decision-makers, representatives of companies, science and civil society from all over the world will meet at the 54th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

Once again this year, Frankfurt RheinMain is the only German region to be represented at the World Economic Summit with its own reception. “Frankfurt RheinMain - The Reception" is organized by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH). Also supporting the event are Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. as a partner for the financial center, the City of Frankfurt am Main and DZ Bank.

Now in its 15th year, the traditional reception has a new look: in addition to a new, more central venue, there will be a top-class panel discussion for the first time. On January 17, Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, and Stefan Wintels, CEO of KfW Bank, will discuss with the participants. The panel will be moderated by the well-known German TV presenter Astrid Frohloff. Mike Josef, Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FRM GmbH, will travel to Davos for the first time and officially welcome the guests. On behalf of Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. as a partner for the financial center, Gerhard Wiesheu, President of Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. and Spokesman of the Board of B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. AG will be on site.

Representatives of the Frankfurt Rhein Main region will include Dr. Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg, Mayor of the City of Frankfurt, Stefanie Wüst, Head of Frankfurt's Economic Affairs Department, and Frank Nagel, Vice President of the Frankfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce, who will be in Davos to promote the region at the FRM GmbH reception.
