“Frankfurt RheinMain - The Reception" in Davos 2025: Region promotes Frankfurt RheinMain as a business location

From 20 to 24 January, political decision-makers, representatives of business, science and civil society from all over the world will meet at the 55th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Once again, Frankfurt RheinMain will be the only German region to host its own reception at the World Economic Summit. 'Frankfurt RheinMain - The Reception' is organised by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH). This year's sponsors are once again Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. as partner of the financial centre, the City of Frankfurt, DZ Bank and, for the first time, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

For the first time in the history of the reception, Dr Jörg Kukies, Federal Minister of Finance, will speak on behalf of the Federal Government. In addition to the financial centre, which will be represented at a high level by Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, and Souâd Benkredda, Member of the Board of DZ BANK, the life sciences industry will also play a central role this year. Michael Sen, CEO of Fresenius, will also be on the panel.

Mike Josef, Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FRM GmbH, will officially welcome the guests, as he did last year.

Representatives from the Frankfurt RheinMain region include Dr Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg, Mayor of the City of Frankfurt, Dr Felix Schwenke, Mayor of the City of Offenbach, Martin Burlon, Mayor of the City of Dreieich and Volker Ludwig, Vice President of the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who will be in Davos to promote the region at the FRM GmbH reception.
