HomeServe comes to Frankfurt RheinMain

Homeserve Germany

Once again, an international company has decided to settle in Frankfurt RheinMain. HomeServe, a leading international company for trade services, is entering the German market with the establishment of a trade group for sanitation, heating and air conditioning (SHK) and is opening its German headquarters in Frankfurt am Main to ensure good accessibility and short distances to the individual group members. The British craft service provider was supported in its relocation by FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region (FRM GmbH) in close coordination with Frankfurt Economic Development (Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt).

Eric Menges, President & CEO FRM GmbH: "In challenging times, it is a positive signal when an international company settles in Frankfurt RheinMain. It shows once again that as a region Frankfurt RheinMain is a truly competitive location internationally. The establishment of HomeServe shows very clearly once again that Frankfurt RheinMain is one of the locations where global companies prefer to set up their base. Thanks to its central location and an excellently developed infrastructure, our region offers these companies perfect conditions to work closely with their partners and serve customers worldwide."

HomeServe was founded by Richard Harpin in the UK over 25 years ago. In the meantime, the company says it has developed into a leading international, innovative service provider in the field of plumbing, heating and air conditioning. HomeServe currently employs more than 7,000 people worldwide, serving 8 million customers in eight countries. Expansion into the USA, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Japan was followed by entry into the German market in 2022.

The British company invests in owner-managed businesses in the SHK (sanitary, heating, air-conditioning) sector that are looking for a business succession, for example. In return, HomeServe will support the associated businesses in the digitalisation of processes such as accounting, recruitment, negotiation of purchasing conditions and marketing.

Thomas Rebel, Managing Director of HomeServe Germany, thanks the acquired companies for their trust and cooperation in a spirit of partnership: "HomeServe Germany has great respect for the German craft tradition and the successes that our partner companies have achieved. With our crafts group, we want to contribute to the further development and future security of the SHK industry."

FRM GmbH supported HomeServe its first steps in Frankfurt RheinMain. The experts from the international location marketing company coordinated the property selection process in close consultation with the company and the region and established contact with suitable service providers.
